Itinerary

Day 1: Start of Inca Trail

6-7 hours of trekking

After breakfast we will pick you from your hotel in Cusco to take you by car to the sacred valley of the Incas where we will have breakfast (has extra cost) and then continue to the route KM 82 (our trek will start here).

We will walk next to the river till we arrive to the community of Miskay, where we will have lunch.

After this we will continue our Trek to the archeologic complex of Llactapata, a place the Incas used for resting. After this we will continue to Wallabamba and we will ascend to Yuncachimpa (3300m/10823f) where we will camp.

Day 2: Inca Trail

Distance travelled 15 Km

This part of the Trek will be free by everyone to walk at the velocity they are capable of walking, in each resting place we will wait for everyone.

In the morning we will start our Trek by the valley of Llulluchapampa (3850m/12631f) the first 3 Km of trekking will be steep and difficult but you will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the valley.

From LLulluchampa we will continue till we arrive to the tallest place in the trip the Warmihuanusca pass (4200m/113780f), this will be the hardest trek of the Inka trail.

After resting we will descend on a steep path to the Pacacmayo river to continue our trek to the Runkurakay pass (3050m/100007f) from here we will continue to the Chaquicocha camp where we will rest and will be able to appreciate the beautiful mountains surrounding us.

Day 3: Inca Trail

5-6 hours of trekking

Distance travelled 10 km

We will depart from our camp in direction to Winaywayna tropic forest where you will be able to appreciate the beautiful scenery and feel the change of ecosystem from place to place.

We will pass two small rivers in the second pass. The trek will be easy and will take us to a beautiful forest and a small Inca tunnel before we arrive to the third pass.

Then we will arrive to Phuyupatamarca (3600m/11811f) or “city above the clouds” this place contains a large chain of Inca baths.

After the visit to that great place we will pass another small tunnel to arrive to the ruins of Winaywayna (“forever young”) the stairs of this place change in a zigzag form till we arrive to our camp a white building with red roof.

Day 4: Machuppichu

2 to 3 hours of trekking

Distance travelled 7 Km

Very early in the morning we will start the trek to Inti Punko (gate of the sun) where we will be able to appreciate an amazing view of Machuppichu when the sun is touching its ancient ruins and mountains.

We will descend from Inti Punko to Machuppichu to enjoy a tour of the lost city of the Incas where you will be able to visit: the temple of the three windows, the Intihuatana, the main square, etc.

After the tour of Machuppichu you will have free time to visit Machuppichu more slowly or climb the mountain Wayna Picchu (the entrance ticket has an extra cost and the reservation needs to be with months of anticipation as the tickets are limited)

After the visit we will take a bus to the toen of Aguas calientes were we will rest a few hours, then we will take the train back to Urubamba and from Urubamba to Cusco.

Reservation Politics

Reservation

To make your reservation you should pay 10% of the cost of the package to separate your space (non-refundable, this money could be used in another tour you choose if you cancelled a tour, only could be used one time)
You need to pay 50% of the cost of the package 60 days before the trip starts and another 40 % of the cost of the package 30 days before the trip starts.
When you apply for one package the agency will contact you in 48 hours with the final price of the package
The payment should be to our back accounts
The passenger to be able to do a reservation, he/she should give the following information:

Full name
Passport number
Birthdate
Expiration date of passport
Nationality
Age
Sex
Also, any physical condition, allergies, diseases and preference of food.

Politics about children

In all our programs unless stated, the maximum age of a child is 11 years old, older children than 12 years old are considered as adults and will have same tariff as an adult

Package cancellation:

All our passengers are subject to the charge for cancelation and/or change of date for the solicited service.

If the cancelation is made 60 days before the trip starts, we will change you 50 % of the paid price
If the cancelation is 45 days before the trip starts, we will change 60 % of the paid price
We can not change a name of one passage with another passenger name, can not transfer your package to another person
If you have reserved your package with: hotel, flight, bus and train, you will have to follow the conditions and rules of those businesses. This rule also is applicable to touristic places as Machupicchu or Inka trail.

No Show

All passenger that is not present on a programmed service and reserved, without cancellation or acceptance from our part will be considered a No Show, and we will be charged 100% of the price of the package without refund or complains.

Complementary

We recommend to all our customer to buy an accident insurance or/and travel insurance. We do not provide accident or travel insurance and this is also not included in our costs.

If a passenger or member of the group becomes ills or a mishap happen, we will transport the passenger to the nearest clinic to receive the due attention.

In the case of accidents or when an evacuation is necessary, we will organize the logistics of rescue and evacuation, in both cases the costs will be assumed by the client or their insurance.

At the end of the trip the passengers can fill a formulary of evaluation of the services. This will let us know the comments of our services and will serve as a way to improve.
