Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco, Chiquisca

We will start our Package from an ancient place Choquequirao to the magnificent city of Machupicchu.

We will depart from your hotel in Cusco very early to arrive to the small villa of Cachora, from the villa we will be able to enjoy the beautiful view of the majestic Apu (mountain) Padreyoc and other smaller Apus.

Here we will meet with the people in charge of the trek in their horses.

We well walk till Capuliyoc (2800m/9186f) and then we will descend till we arrive to our camp called Chisquisca.

Night in Chisquisca.

Day 2: Chiquisca, Rosalina Beach, Choquequirao

After breakfast we will leave Chisquisca and descend to the Rosalina beach to then ascend to the town of Marampata from here we will have an amazing view of the archeologic complex Choquequirao, there is the possibility that we will also be able to see the majestic bird the Condor.

Our camp will be situated near the ruins of Choquequirao.

Day 3: Choquequirao, Rio Blanco

Very early in the morning we will visit the ancient city of Choquequirao also known as “the golden cradle”, this magnificent city is divided in many sections of palaces, fountains, temples and houses.

Then we will continue to the Choquequirao pass (3270m/10728f) and we will pass by the archeologic centre Pinchsunuyoc.

To end the trek of this day we will descend near the canyon Rio Blanco where we will camp.

Day 4: Rio Blanco, San Juan, Yanama

Climate hot and cold

The constant change of climates between cold and hot will make this day the hardest of all the trip but also the one with the best landscape.

Very early in the morning we will start our trek in direction to Maizal (3000m/9843f), in Maizal we will rest and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the place,

We will continue till San Juan where we will enjoy the beauty of the valley, the Apus and the snowy mountains.

From San juan we will go to Yanama (3530m/11581f) were our camp will be located.

Day 5: Yanama, Totora Pampa

8 hours of trekking

Very early in the morning from Yanama we will go to the tallest place of the trip the Yanama pass (4670m/15321f), here we will enjoy a majestic landscape and possibly also see the Condor.

Following our trek we will be able to see the Apus Salkantay and Pintuyu.

Our camp of the day will be located in the Totora Pampa valley.

Day 6: Totora Pampa, La Playa

In totora Pampa we will meet many people that speak the ancient language of the Incas (The Quechua), the people from this are live from the agriculture and cattle raising.

In this area you will be able to see a great variety of unique plants.

The camp of the day will be in “La Playa” (2100m/6890f) or in Lucmabamba (2020m/6627f)

Day 7: La Playa, Llactapata, Aguas Calientes

Our trek will start early in the morning in direction to the Inca trail Llactapata (2650m/8694f) were we will be able to see the beloved and majestic great Apu Machuppichu.

Our trek will continue to the hydroelectric station where we will take a confortable train to the town of Aguas Calientes.

In the town of Aguas Calientes we will stay at a hotel.

Day 8: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Cusco

After breakfast we will pick you from your hotel in the town of Aguas Calientes to the bus station where you will take a bus with direction to the lost city of the Incas Machuppichu (takes around 20 minutes).

In Machuppichu you will enjoy a tour of two hours where you will be able to visit: the temple of the condor, the temple of the sun, the temple of the three windows, the main square, etc.

After the tour of Machuppichu you will have free time to visit Machuppichu more slowly or climb the mountain Wayna Picchu (the entrance ticket has an extra cost and the reservation needs to be with months of anticipation as the tickets are limited)

After the visit we will take a bus to the toen of Aguas calientes were we will rest a few hours, then we will take the train back to Urubamba and from Urubamba to Cusco.

Reservation Politics

Reservation

  1. To make your reservation you should pay 10% of the cost of the package to separate your space (non-refundable, this money could be used in another tour you choose if you cancelled a tour, only could be used one time)
  2. You need to pay 50% of the cost of the package 60 days before the trip starts and another 40 % of the cost of the package 30 days before the trip starts.
  3. When you apply for one package the agency will contact you in 48 hours with the final price of the package
  4. The payment should be to our back accounts
  5. The passenger to be able to do a reservation, he/she should give the following information:
  • Full name
  • Passport number
  • Birthdate
  • Expiration date of passport
  • Nationality
  • Age
  • Sex
  • Also, any physical condition, allergies, diseases and preference of food.

Politics about children

In all our programs unless stated, the maximum age of a child is 11 years old, older children than 12 years old are considered as adults and will have same tariff as an adult

Package cancellation:

All our passengers are subject to the charge for cancelation and/or change of date for the solicited service.

  • If the cancelation is made 60 days before the trip starts, we will change you 50 % of the paid price
  • If the cancelation is 45 days before the trip starts, we will change 60 % of the paid price
  • We can not change a name of one passage with another passenger name, can not transfer your package to another person
  • If you have reserved your package with: hotel, flight, bus and train, you will have to follow the conditions and rules of those businesses. This rule also is applicable to touristic places as Machupicchu or Inka trail.

No Show

All passenger that is not present on a programmed service and reserved, without cancellation or acceptance from our part will be considered a No Show, and we will be charged 100% of the price of the package without refund or complains.

Complementary

We recommend to all our customer to buy an accident insurance or/and travel insurance. We do not provide accident or travel insurance and this is also not included in our costs.

If a passenger or member of the group becomes ills or a mishap happen, we will transport the passenger to the nearest clinic to receive the due attention.

In the case of accidents or when an evacuation is necessary, we will organize the logistics of rescue and evacuation, in both cases the costs will be assumed by the client or their insurance.

**we recommend to other businesses or tour operators verify if the passenger we operate for you have travel insurance.

Service control

At the end of the trip the passengers can fill a formulary of evaluation of the services. This will let us know the comments of our services and will serve as a way to improve.
